Ratnakar Rai is a horticulturalist and agro-technologist specializing in hydroponics and controlled-environment agriculture. With more than 25 years of experience, he has worked on commercial horticultural projects in India and internationally, helping advance modern soil-less growing systems and sustainable food production. Ratnakar is passionate about educating others on the powerful health benefits of clean growing and healthy eating. He is helping Sun Hydroponics as an expert advisor and is committed to educating people about how growing their own food can lead to healthier lives. He particularly favors Deep Water Culture hydroponic systems.
Brian Bedrick
UCF Business Incubator Site Manager
Brian is a seasoned entrepreneur and Site Director for the University of Central Florida Business Incubation Program in Eustis, FL. With a background as co-founder of several companies in professional development and data analytics, a corporate executive in global education, and a Product Manager at General Electric, he is a trusted advisor. Brian has mentored Paul Perkins through the incubator's UCF Excellence in Entrepreneurship program for another of Paul's endeavors and provided introductions to Tony and Tonya at Oxford Family Farms. Sun Hydroponics is grateful for his mentorship, guidance, and friendship.

Tony Oxford is a Florida farmer and agricultural entrepreneur who, with his wife Tonya, operates Oxford Family Farms in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida. Their family farm integrates aquaponics, cattle, and pasture-raised poultry to produce fresh, locally grown food while demonstrating sustainable farming practices. Tony is passionate about strengthening local food systems and helping people reconnect with where their food comes from. Through farm tours, education, and community outreach, the Oxford family shares practical knowledge about modern agriculture and the importance of clean, responsibly produced food.
